Scenes from the Florida Keys

This is what the water in the Florida Keys looks like, it is very shallow and beautiful turquoise

Take Time as we cruised through Miami with our Mast down

This guy landed on the roof of the boat and let me get up on our ladder to get his picture, I guess he needed a rest.

Night Blooming Cactus in the early morning before they closed up for the day

Banana trees

Sunset on the Bayside of Marathon

Tequila Sunrise, this flower looks like it's not real, but it is,the colors are great

Parrot Fish

Florida spiny lobster, not as good as our's from up north

All the flowers in the keys are so vibrant

The sunsets are always great, no matter how many times you see it you still want more.

Green Heron on the boat lines fishing.

Peregrine Falcon

Scorpion

Notice the markings on the Manatee's back and tail from boat props

The Orchids grow everywhere in the Keys

Iguana's can swim very well and climb aboard your boat to sun themselves, we have chased them off many times.

Brown Pelicans, the ones with the white heads are the older ones and the brown ones are less than a year old

Beautiful Bald Eagle at the docks in Marathon, what a sight..........

Friends fishing off the dock and this Octopus wanted the bait,(fresh shrimp). Trying to get the Octopus off the hook, not fun, and it let it's ink in the water, it was something to witness the event.

This Egret is right outside of our window on the docks, he would visit daily and look in the slider window

Egret, Pelican, and Heron all fishing for lunch..... Ibis, these guys would be walking down the street in search of a puddle of fresh water to drink
